Becoming a Volunteer
Here at Crookham Infant School, we are delighted to be able to once again welcome back volunteers to help at our school either by listening to readers or gardening or coming along on school trips. Volunteering is a fantastic way to contribute to the success of the children at our school and it is such a rewarding experience being able to give back.
As part of our commitment to Safeguarding and ensuring compliance with Hampshire County Council guidelines, there are a few things we need to do before you start with us. Firstly, we ask that you read our Volunteer Policies:
We will then ask you to complete and provide the following:
- Volunteer Agreement and Information Form
- Childcare Disqualification Form
- 2 references
- Volunteer Agreement and Information Form
- Childcare Disqualification Staff and Volunteer Declaration Form
Please contact the school office for the next steps to carry out the following checks:
- DBS application
- Proof of your right to work in the UK, and
- Proof of name, address and date of birth
Once we have received all of the above, we offer resources and training, as shown below. We will ask you to confirm once you have read all of the policies and completed the training. Please note there will be an annual refresher for Safeguarding training.
Thank you for your interest in helping our wonderful school.
