Consultation on Crookham CE(Aided) Infant School Admissions Arrangements 2026-2027

Crookham CE(A) Infant School is seeking your views on its admissions arrangements for the school year 2026-2027. 

The school Admissions Code published by the Department for Education requires all own admissions authorities to consult on their admissions arrangements if any changes are proposed or if the arrangements have not been subject to a public consultation for 7 years. Consultation must be for a minimum period of 6 weeks between 1^st October 2024 and 31^st January 2025.

We are proposing changes to our current admissions arrangements as follows:

• The definition of ‘regular attendance’ at a Christian Church service by one or both parents is amended to at least once a month for one year immediately preceding the date of application.
• The cap has been removed on the number of children seeking admission to the school under Criterion 5.
