School Meals, Snacks and Drinks
School Lunches
Lunches are provided free of charge for all infant school pupils. All meals are cooked on site by a team of staff led by our cook.
Children can choose their meal each day. Options are usually:
Red meal - meat dish
Green meal - vegetarian dish
Jacket Potato (Autumn/Spring) or Picnic Bag (Summer)
You can talk to your child about their potential choice before they come to school in the morning. Click here for the CURRENT LUNCH MENU
For more details about Education Catering Lunches see their flyer below: (please note the 2024 version is not yet available)
Children can bring a packed lunch as an alternative if they wish. Please do not send in lunches containing peanut butter, nuts or anything containing nuts (e.g. Nutella, cereal bars) or sesame seeds. We also ask that you do not include sweets or chocolate in packed lunches.

It is important to contact Education Catering if you think your child requires a special diet due to allergies. Our Lunch Hour at School
All children eat lunch in the school hall whether they have chosen a school meal or packed lunch.
The classes take it in turns to go to lunch first or play outside before they eat. The Lunchtime Supervisors team support the children in the hall, encouraging them to eat well and try new things. Together with Mr Miles, they also lead games and activities outside and support all children in building great friendships. Our Year 2 play leaders help support children who need a friend.
School Milk
All under-5s are entitled to free school milk - registration is necessary to receive a carton of fresh semi-skimmed milk every day. See the flyer below for how to register on the Cool Milk website. Find out how to fuel their potential with milk here.
Milk is also available for children aged five or older at subsidised prices. If your child is entitled to free school meals then they are also entitled to free milk once they reach five - please contact the school office for more details.
Snacks
At snack time in school, all children receive one piece of free vegetable or fruit. This is different each day but can be a carrot, pear, apple, banana, tomato etc. You may send in one piece of additional fruit or a vegetable if you would like to.
